Discrete, Gentle Tooth Alignment With Invisalign®
Invisalign is the modern solution for aligning your teeth; discrete, gentle, and gradual. Invisalign® is the perfect solution for those who want a cleaner, straighter smile without needing braces.
lnvisalign ® takes a modern approach to straightening teeth, using a custom-made series of aligners that you wear over your teeth.
Wearing the aligners will gradually and gently shift your teeth into place, based on the exact movements your dentist plans out for you.
There are no metal brackets to attach and no wires to tighten. You just pop in a new set of aligners approximately every two weeks, until your treatment is complete.
The best part about the whole process is that most people won’t even know you’re straightening your teeth. Invisalign® aligners are clear, essentially invisible in everyday situations.
The first step is to visit our office at Preston Dental Centre, so that our team can determine whether lnvisalign ® is the right orthodontic treatment for you.
With lnvisalign ®, you can eat what you want, within reason. And it’s easy to clean. Only an orthodontist who has been trained and certified by Align Technology can diagnose and treat using lnvisalign ®. With lnvisalign ® offered by PDC, you’ll be smiling like you never have before! This system has helped hundreds of patients, from teenagers to adults, to achieve greater confidence and more beautiful smiles as a result.
Once the consultation is done and we’re on the same page, it’s time to make the aligners. We capture an accurate 3D image of your teeth using a custom scanner, then have the aligners made specifically to your measurements. Each one is individually trimmed for a better look and feel. We examine the entire set to ensure that the highest standards are met.
Then we bring you in for a fitting. You’ll be using a series of these over the next several months, so we’ll check to see that everything is just right for you.
You will have a set of instructions for how to use your aligners and how to care for them, etc. We’ll advise when you’ll need to visit us for follow-ups, typically around once every six weeks; any adjustments will be made as needed.
